Puppet

I started the week looking at incorporation of my own work into the community project, I started by thinking about the use of space, the fragility and film use in my last project. I came up with 'the character'. I had imagined a rough made puppet that could be used in film and sculpture, I thought of various scales, I'm in the process of experimenting with materials.

The two hand shapes I will cover in liquid latex, it is a time consuming method but it will create a mould so I can experiment with multiple productions. I have also made my own modeling dough out of 1 part flour, 1 part salt and 1 part water warmed over a stove. I did look it up under modeling clay as it is a better material to make master moulds from...but I don't think this recipe will work! Its basically play dough.

I would have posted the storyboard I made for the character however I lack a scanner for the moment. I also received word that this would not be rel event for the school, however there are contacts I could use that may show interest.
